Terrance Jay "Terry" Hubbell, 67 of Battle Creek died on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor following a short illness.

Terry was born on August 4, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Mary Jane (Mramor) Hubbell. He graduated from Valley High School in Valley Station, Kentucky and attended Western Kentucky University.

Terry worked for Clark Equipment Company in Battle Creek until they closed in 1985. He then worked for the Department of Defense at the Federal Center in Battle Creek until he retired in 2006. He was an avid pilot who flew for over 30 years and he also enjoyed riding motorcycles.

He is survived by his son, Chris (Alissa) Hubbell of Marshall; Granddaughter, Rhiannon Hubbell of Marshall; mother, Mary Jane Hubbell of Elyria, Ohio; brother Jack (Fran) Hubbell of Clinton, Ohio; sister Kim (Chris) Boyson of Elyria, Ohio; and a niece Ashley Boyson. He was preceded in death by his father John Hubbell; and a brother, Brad Hubbell.

A private family service will take place at a later date. Family requests memorial contributions in Terry's memory be made to Paws With A Cause. Assistance with memorials is available at the Craig K. Kempf Funeral Home, 723 US 27 North, Marshall.
