Mary K. Freeman Friemuth

Mary K. Friemuth, 100, formerly of Oregon, died Wed. Feb. 11, 2009 in Polo Rehab and Health Care Center. She was born in Mt. Morris on July 7, 1908 the daughter of William & Myrtle Miller Freeman. She married Andrew James on Oct. 5, 1934 in Mt. Morris, IL; he died in 1966. On Sept. 18, 1970, she married Warner Friemuth; he died in 1979. Mary worked as a cook in area restaurants and then worked for 17 years in the laundry & sewing department at Pinecrest Nursing Home in Mt. Morris. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and helping family with their needs. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Printz of Forreston; grandchildren, Penny (Dave) Heckman of Polo, Steven Printz and Kelly (Marc) Enriquez both of AZ, and Andrea (Mike) McFarlin of Aurora, IL; and great grandchildren, Kortney Heckman of Polo, and Marlie Enriquez of AZ. She was also preceded in death by 6 sisters and 3 brothers. Funeral services will be held Monday Feb. 16, 2009 at 2:00 PM, preceded by visitation beginning at 1:00 PM, in the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 110 S. 7th St., Oregon with Rev. David Rogula officiating. Burial will be in Oak Knoll Cemetery, Sterling.
