Obituary of Lydia A. (Hoard) Sleight. Lydia A. Hoard was born in Illinois the first day of March, 1850, married Mr. H. B. Sleight in March 1886,and settled near the north line of this county where they made their home until 1895, when they moved to Arkansas, and later Oklahoma. She died at her home March 5, 1911, at the age of 61 years and four days. She leaves a bereaved husband two loving daughters to mourn her loss. Mr. Sleight and daughter, Mrs. Elva Day of Oklahoma, accompanied the remains to Kanorado where they were met by Mrs. Myrtle Buchanan of Kit Carson county, Colo., also a daughter. Service was conducted by the pastor of the M. E. church and the remains laid to rest in the cemetery at Kanorado, March 8.
