Audrey was employed as a cashier at the former S.S. Kresge Store in downtown Battle Creek for 26 years, retiring in 1981. She was a former member of Vine Grove Methodist Church in Dayton. She enjoyed square dancing, arranging flowers, birds, and gospel ... country music. Audrey was a selfless and devoted wife, mother and friend, whose life was dedicated to caring for those she loved. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her benevolent generous spirit; boundless sense of humor and infectious laughter, her unassuming strength, infinite compassion and unconditional love will survive as her towering legacy. Words alone cannot articulate the position she held in the lives she touched, how much she was loved or how much she will be missed, but the closest to her can celebrate in having been blessed and honored with the time we had with her.
