Anise E. Bosecker, age 91, of Rochelle, died on Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Rochelle Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Nov. 3, 1917 in Edwards County, IL to William McKinley and Myrtle Ellen (Potter) Curtis. Anise married Albert Adam Bosecker on April 11, 1937 in Browns, IL and he preceded her on Feb. 22, 1995. She and her husband farmed for several years. They built, owned and operated the Starlight Motel. She was a 47 year member of the First Presbyterian Church. Anise enjoyed quilting, china painting, reading and flower gardening. She was preceded by her parents; and brother: Charles Curtis.

Survivors include 4 daughters: Marjorie (Jerry) Hayes of Rochelle; Delores (Robert) Reints of Dysart, IA, Doris (Norm) Gruben of Rochelle, and Bernice (Don) Fitzsimmons of Danville, IL; brother: Harold (Sanda) Curtis of LaFayette, IL; grandchildren: Karen (Brent) Tracy, Brian (Susan) Hayes, Janet Lodico, Sheryl (Dave) Casey, Becky (Todd) Larson, Marvin (Susan) Reints, Tammy (Matt) Mehlhaus, Kreg (Evelyn) Gruben, Lanette (Tim) Schumacher, Kurt (Kathy) Gruben, Krista (Andy) Waldron, Shaun (Stacy) Fitzsimmons; 28 great grandchildren and 4 step great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 30, 2009 at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. John Hamilton and Rev. Dr. James Tilley officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday. Oct. 29th from 4 - 7:00 PM also at the First Presbyterian Church. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle, is assisting the family with arrangements. Burial at Trinity Memory Gardens. Memorials to the First Presbyterian Church or Ogle County Hospice.
