    Isabella McGlathery Record

    I, Isabella McGlathery of the City of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania Widow being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last will and Testament in the manner following

    First, I order and direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon as convenient after my decease.

    Item I give and bequeath to my beloved sister Susan Lawson all my personal and mixed property of which I may possess whatsoever and wheresoever found at the time of my decease.

    Item, I give and bequeath to my said sister Susan Lawson the use, benefit income of all my Real Estate or property situate No. 1238 North Eleventh street in the Twentieth Ward of said City of Philadelphia during her natural life.

    Item. At the death of my said sister Susan Lawson I give and bequeath the use benefit and income of my said property No. 1238 Eleventh street to my adopted son Edward V Bugby during his natural life.

    Item. At the death of said Edward V Bugby I give and bequeath said Real Estate or property No 1238 N. Eleventh street unto his children, their heirs and assigns forever absolutely.

    Item. I give and bequeath to my adoptive son, Edward V. Bugby my Cemetery Lot situate in Trinity Church Cemetery Catherine between Second and Third streets, in the District of Southwark in a certain plan marked Lot three (3), North (5) Deed bearing date November 25th, A.D. 1870

    Lastly I appoint and nominate my sister Susan Lawson My Executrix, hereby revoking all former wills by me at anytime heretofore made.

    In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty seven

    Then personally appeared F. Van Gunten and F. Van Gunten Jr. the subscribed witnesses to the foregoing last will and testament of Isabella McGlathery deceased and on their solemn oaths did say they were present, and did see and hear Isabella McGlathery deceased the Testatrix therein named, sign seal publish the same as and for her last will and testament and that at the doing thereof she was of sound mind, memory, and understanding to their best knowledge and belief.
