Robert Post(1910-1943) was a journalist that was killed over Oldenburg, Germany with other writers part of the Writing 69th, which went to Germany to report back on the war. The plane Post was in met up with a German bomber and exploded after two rounds from the bomber. Post and eight Air Force crew members were killed as the plane was shot down and exploded in mid-air.
