Obituary, : Clural Thomas Hogue was born in 1910 and raised by his mother's sister in Tennessee.
He married Essie Franklin in 1928 in Overton County, Tennessee. She died in 1931.
He married Doris Conrad in November of 1939. They had two daughters, Karen and Pamela. After serving in the navy during WW2 he owned and operated several businesses. He was a shoe repairman by trade and also owned a Western Auto Store for a time. He seldom took a day off work but was able to enjoy going fishing many times. His two grandchildren brought him great joy. He died in 1989 in Evansville, Indiana.
Obituary, : Doris Roberta Conrad was born June 13, 1918. She was the daughter of Harley and Ethel Conrad. She had two younger sisters, Donnis and Betty Lou. On Nov. 22, 1939 she married Tommy Hogue. They lived in New Castle, Anderson, Tipton and Evansville Indiana during their marriage. They had two daughters, Karen and Pamela. Karen died in 1982. After Tommy died in 1989 Doris lived with her daughter in Texas and Arkansas. She died in Little Rock Arkansas on Feb. 10, 1998. She worked hard to keep a nice home and also helped her husband in his businesses. Her favorite foods were fried chicken, sliced tomatoes, and rhubarb pie.
