    • Newspaper, : HAGAN, Nita G. at the age of 101, passed away in Atlanta after a brief illness. She lived in Montgomery 29 years and taught Tai Chi. She helped organize The World Affairs Council and served on their Board of Directors for many years. Mrs. Hagan traveled the world extensively and was fascinated by the various cultures she encountered. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Hagan. She is survived by her son Fred S. (Bunk) Hagan and her daughter-in-law Nita E. Hagan. She has three grandchildren: Lisa H. Derrick of Atlanta, Georgia; Fred Hagan, Jr. of Tacoma, Washington; and Erich Hagan of Redding, California. There will be a memorial service at Aldersgate United Methodist Church chapel in Montgomery on Saturday, June 6 at 2:00 with Rev. Robin Wilson officiating. Visitation will be at 1:30 in the parlor of the church. Cremation Society of the SOUTH in Marietta, GA is in charge of the arrangements (770) 420-5557.
