Biography: Sir Oliver, son of Sir Henry and Joanna Warren Cromwell, alias Williams was knighted by Queen Elizabeth in 1598. He was married twice: to Elizabeth Bromley and to Anne Hooftman, widow of Si King James I was lavishly entertained and gifted by Sir Oliver on 1603 and on many other occasions.
