Elizabeth Denton's will is dated Feb. 1, 1749 and leaves all moveable estate to four youngest children, Joseph, John, James and Elizabeth. "My executors are to hire out the house where I now live and the land until my eldest son, Samuel, is of age, and the money to be applied for the bringing up and schooling of my four youngest children. I make my brother, Benjamin Smith, and Robert Sutton, Robert Marvin, and John Hichs, executors. Witnesses: John Smith, Jonathan Rowland, Jacob Smith. Proved Feb. 23, 1749.
