Are these William's brothers? This was too early for his sons to have been listed.
Further, in 1919, William F. Broughton, a clerk, with wife Lillian E., resided at 2114 Proctor Avenue in a suburb of Flinkt listed as CH. Boarding at the same addresss was William Broughton, also a clerk, with wife, Elizabeth. Were these the same couple or two different relatives? Also boarding at this address was Dora Broughton.
In 1919, the Flint coprs of The Salvation Army was located at 408 Beach, and the commandant was Melvin Calhoun.
After officer training in England, he and his wife were assigned to Loughborough, then Kettering, Farnworth, Banburty, St. Albans and Limehouse - all in England. Then they were transfered to German Switzerland. Her served as Divisional Commander, Chancellor and Young People's Secretary in the Salvation Army's British field. He was transferred to Amerian in 1910.
