Truman D. Crispell, a lifelong and highly respected citizen of this city, died Thursday evening following a short illness. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Crispell who reside at Eddyville and for a number of years had been a faithful employee of the West Shore Railroad Company. His many friends will deeply mourn his death as he was liked by all who knew him. Besides his wife who was Jennie E. Krom he leaves three sons, Jesse T., Vernon E. and Claude M. Crispell, his parents, also one sister, Mrs. Edith Krom of Eddyville and three brothers, Louis Crispell of this city, and John and William Crispell of Eddyville. The funeral services will be held from his late home 16 Hudson street Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in the family plot in Montrepose cemetery.
