Sir Thomas Chiche

He is first mentioned as a knight in 1333. He was the second of his family to be knighted and the third Thomas in his family. He seems to have married twice. In 1339 his wife is named Mary, and in 1343 her name is given as Wilmine or Wilmyne. He was taxed in Ringlow, Faversham, and Canterbury. He was a patrone of the church at Goodnestone.
