Sanford and Fanny had seven children. Among them were;
Samuel Hunt, a teacher
Horace Hunt, who married Betsey Parmalee; a Supervisor of his town, mill owner, member of Assembly, and when he moved to Michagan, JP of Jackson, Michigan until his death.
Sanford Hunt, Jr, a merchant
Eliza, who in 1826, married Colonel Greenlief Clark, who owned a tannery at Hunts Hollow. John Clark, of Nunda, was their son.
Mary Hunt married Charles Williams, a teacher. They had no children.
Frederick Hunt, who died comparatively young.
Edward Hunt, youngest son, born in Nunjda. Went to West Point and graducated as a Lieutenant of Englineers. He married the 'talented, "Helen Hunt Jackson," who wrote the book, "Ramona."
