LXXXVII. -- Robert F. Williams was born in Iuka, Miss., October 8, 1873, When he was three years old his parents removed to Corinth, Miss., where he attended public school during his youth and received a public school education. At the age of sixteen he left home and went into a railroad office at Wilson, La., for the purpose of learning telegraphy. Here he remained for eight months obtaining a fair knowledge of telegraphy and railroad office work. He then decided to attend school again, and accordingly went to Mississippi College, Clinton during the school year of 1892-93. She was born June 27, 1912, in Baldwyn to the late Robert Franklin Williams and the late Victoria McCay Williams. She was a homemaker and a piano teacher. She was an active member and leader in all aspects of the First United Methodist Church in Houston until illness left her unable to attend. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at the First United Methodist Church of Houston with Bro. Mike Childs, Bro. Johnny Cherry and Bro. Tommy Smith officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Baldwyn Masonic Cemetery in Baldwyn. Memorial Funeral Home of Houston is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include a daughter, ? her husband...; a son, ? ; five grandsons.; two granddaughters; [and] 10 great-grandchildren.
