DOB.Some show it as 10 Jul 1787 and this fits nicely with his siblings making him the eldest by about 3 years. But the note at Find-a-Grave gives his age as 61 years, 9 months, 23 days which would give a date of birth of  24 Jan 1796.  Further, the DOB of 10 Jul 1787 also shows for another William Batterson, son of Stephen and Sarah.
