Marie Ann Jones Whittington, 64, died Aug. 31, 2011, at Liberty Community Living Center in Liberty, where she was a resident.

Visitation is 6 to 8 tonight at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster and continues 9 a.m. Friday until services there at 11, with Bro. James Sadler and Bro. Merrill Blalock officiating. Burial will be in Brumfield-Whittington Cemetery near Liberty.

Mrs. Whittington was born Nov. 25, 1946, in Liberty, to Lyman and Evelyn Smith Jones. She worked in accounting for Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Wade Jones; niece, Lisa Renee Jones; nephews, Donald Christopher Jones Jr. and Daniel Allen Dreher; and father-in-law, Paul Whittington.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Michael ?Mike? Whittington; three brothers, Lenny Jones, Preston Jones and wife Gwen and Mike Jones, all of Liberty; nieces and nephews, Bobby Jones and wife Denise, Jessica Jones, Tracy Dreher, Mitchel Perkins and wife Angel, Brandon Jones, Tara LeBlanc and husband Stewart, Dana Haygood and husband Kyle, Joshua Jones and wife Sarah, Becky Wall, Crystal Guedry, Kim Jarveau, Adam Whittington; great-nieces and nephews, Christopher Jones, Caitlynn Jones, Jake Haygood, Gabriela Videgaray, Trenton Jones, Parker Jones, Elaina Perkins, Charlie LeBlanc, Sawyer LeBlanc, Lelia Jones, Kai LaFontaine, Dakota Guedry, Taylor Guedry, Derek Guedry, Nicholas Guedry, Noah Jarreau, Wyatt Whittington; two sisters-in-laws, Patsy Whittington of Gloster and Sandra Wall and husband Jamie of Gillsburg; two brothers-in-law, Ray Whittington and wife Dana of Tylertown and Gary Dale Whittington of Liberty; and her mother-in-law, Norma Holland of Liberty.

Pallbearers are Bobby, Brandon and Joshua Jones, Mitchell Perkins, Greg Payne and Jeff Barbay. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Williams and Gary Austin.
