Thomas Jefferson Roberts was appointed recording Steward for the first Quarterly conference 1888 in Woodville, Mississippi replaceing S.D. Roberts. Presiding authority Rev. J. Wilson Brown, P.C.
T. J. Roberts also served in the role of Sunday School Superintendent and District Steward.

Roberts, thence north 26 degrees east 14 chains and 72 links to the stake, thence north 3 degree 55 feet west to a stake on the public road heading from Liberty to Gloster, thence along said road in a southeastern direction to the Section line, thence south on the said section line, to the place of the beginning in Section 21
