John G. Tremper, 60, of 43 Wiltwyck Avenue died at Benedictine Hospital this morning. He was born in Newburgh and had been a resident of Kingston for approximately 30 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Church and the Holy Name Society of that church. He was employed for the past 12 years at Ulster County Tuberculosis Hospital. Mr. Tremper was a World War I veteran. Surviving are his wife, the former Elizabeth Nunnold; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Brodhead, Kingston; Mrs. Michael G. Lavich, San Jose, Calif.; two sons, John H. Tremper, Connelly; Joseph H. Tremper, Kingston; a step-brother, Winfield Lynn, Kingston, and five grandchildren. The funeral will be held from Jenson & Deegan Funeral Home, 15 Downs Street, Tuesday at 9 a.m.; thence to St. Peter's Church where at 9:30 a.m. a high Mass requiem will be offered for repose of his soul. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
