Biography: Sir Henry, son of Sir Richard and Frances Murphyn Williams alias Cromwell was called "The Golden Knight of Hinchenbrook, Huntingdon". He married Joan Warren, daughter of Sir Ralph Warren, L Sir Henry inherited his father's estates and properties. He was knighted by Queen Elizabeth I in 1563, who honored him by visiting Hinchenbrook on her return from the University of Cambridge in 1564. Sir Henry served as Sheriff of Huntingdonshire and of Cambridgeshire for four terms and also became a Member of Parliament, where he became noted for his oratory.: !Sources: Josiah H.
