Born April 30, 1931 in Muskingum County she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Lena (Ramsey) Donley and was a 1949 graduate of Dresden Jefferson High School.
She was employed in the office of Wills Appliances in Coshocton for two years and in the offices of Turner Hardware of Coshocton for 25 years. Most recently she was employed for ten years at the Dresden McDonald’s.
Grace was a member of Adams Mills Grange and was its Juvenile Leader for many years. She was also a 4-H leader, a Girl Scout leader and a former member of Dresden Order of Eastern Star Chapter #260.
Surviving is a son, Rodney (Paula) Kolb of Adams Mills; two daughters, Nancy (John) Wells of Adams Mills and Sharon (Dave) Thomas of West Lafayette, Ohio; five grandchildren, Marc (Jeanette) Wells, Rodney (Jamea) Kolb, Michelle (Vic) Hottinger, April (Dan) Snyder and Brooke Thomas; five great grandchildren; five sisters, Helen Watson of Alliance, Ohio, Jean Frew and Shirley (Randy) Jacobs of Conesville, Ohio, Annabelle (Jim) Border of Coshocton and Wilma Prater of Adams Mills; several nieces and nephews and , of course, her pet cat “Tiger”.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Barrick and Betty Clark; a brother, Ralph Donley and an infant brother.
As per her request there will be no calling hours and private family graveside services will be held at Adams Mills Cemetery with Pastor Dave Kraft officiating.
