Gladys M. Ray, 74, of Bloomfield, passed away at 9:07 p.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2001 at Hospitality House in Bloomington.
Born March 21, 1927 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Roscoe and Elsie (Strauser) Crowe.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include, two sons, Lonnie G. Ray and Marcus W. Ray of Bloomfield; one niece, Earlene (Dye) Lindsey of Solsberry; one nephew Richard Dye of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one step great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Ray on Dec. 4, 1988; one brother; one sister; and her parents.
Funeral services will be at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield at 2 p.m. on Friday with the Rev. Henry Mann, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgeport Cemetery at Ridgeport.
