Obituary, : Frank Robert "Bob" Decker age 73 of Blue Springs died Saturday, November 13, 1999, at his home. He was born July 22, 1926, in Platte City, Missouri a son of the late Claude r. and Orphia A. Marriott Decker. He was united in marriage to Pearl Craven on March 14, 1969, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and she survives at their home. He was an Army veteran serving his country in World War II. HewasaLifetimememberoftheD.A.V. "Bob" workedasa truck driver and retired from the Morgan County R-11 school district after working as a bus driver and school custodian for many years . Other survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Truman Tomblinson of Kansas City Mo, a son and daugliter-in- law, Phillip and Faye Silvey of Higginsville; three brothers, Bill Decker and Rex Decker and his wife Frances all of Versailles and Foster Bill Ogle and his wife Lois of Avilla, Missouri; one sister, Louise Riley and her husband Larry of Gentry, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, a sister in-law Marie Decker and other relatives & friends. "Bob" was also preceded in death by his son, Noel Lee Decker; two brothers, Harold E. and Jimmy R. Decker and one sister, Gloria Dietzel Roberts. A strange coincedence Bob passed away exactly four months to the day after his brother Harold. The thirteenth, and they were both buried on the 16th. of the respective months.
