Know all men by these presents that I, Sarah McGlathery of Spring Garden in the County of Philadelphia widow being of sound disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament
Item 1st. I give and bequeath to my daughters Kezia McGlathery and Elizabeth McGlathery all and singular my personal and real property of whatsoever kind and description to be equally divided between them share and share alike
Item 2nd. I ordain and appoint my son Richard McGlathery as executor of this my last will and testament
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal and publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in the presence of these witnesses named below this 5th day of July in the year 1851.

City and County of Phila ss Register's Office October 14/1884 Then personally appeared Richard McGlathery and Charles C. McGlathery are being duly affirmed according to law say that they were well acquainted with R. L. Van Osten as one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing last will and testament (dated July 5/1851 [1881 ?]) of Sarah McGlathery deceased, and is familiar with his signature having frequently seen him write his name as well as other matters: that he has carefully examined the forgoing signature 'R. L. Van Osten' to said will, and verily believes it to be in his own proper handwriting. The said R. L. Van Osten is outside this Commonwealth.

Richard McGlathery, Executor, named in the Will of Sarah McGlathery deceased, being duly affirmed according to law says that he has made diligent searches for all the witnesses to the said Will which was executed in July 1851, namely: Thomas B. Powell, James Young and Janies [sic.] R. L. Van Osten, and has been unable to find any of them or any of their relatives, and has no knowledge whatever of their whereabouts, believing them to be dead or removed from this county. That the said testatrix died on the third day of June AD 1853 at 3 o'clock P. M.

Item 1st I give and bequeath to my sister, Kesia McGlathery, of the City of Philadelphia, all and singular my personal and real property of whatsoever kind whatever.
Item 2nd I ordain and appoint my brother Richd McGlathery as Executor of this my last will and Testament.
