Port Angeles resident Clyde J Ziegler died at age 89.He was born in West Line, Mo to Eli and Lena Masterson Ziegler.During WW II, in 1942-45, he served in the Army in the US, including the Aleutian Islands.Mr. Ziegler was a professional photographer who owned a photo shop studio in Portland Ore., in the1950's before purchasing a studio and camera shop in Shelton in 1952. He also operated a shop in Bremerton.He came to Port Angeles in 1969 and was original owner of The Camera Corner at the corner of First and Lincoln streets.He was a member of Lions, Rotary and Elks in Shelton and the Elks Naval Lodge in Port Angeles.Mr. Ziegler enjoyed bowling, traveling, fishing and hunting.He married Mary Hodgson in Port Angeles.In addition to his wife, Mr. Ziegler's survivors include a son and two daughters; sister Nell Berquist of Escondido, Cal; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.Former wives Phyllis Manning and Hazel Lester preceded him in death.Services: At his request, none. Harper-Ridgeview Funeral Chapel, Port Angeles, is in charge.Memorials: Hospice of Clallam County. The family requests no flowers.
