Funeral services were held Wednesday, November, 22, at the Cundiff cemetery, Elkatawa, for Bruce Cundiff, 60, former resident of this county who died Monday, November 20, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Ruth Gillum, in Middleton, Ohio.

He had been ill about six months prior to his death, but was able to continue his work until his death. He was employed by the Continental Motors of Detroit, Mich.

Born at War Creek, this county, the son of the late stephen and Nancy Baker Cundiff, the deceased resident at Elkatawa until 1942 when he moved his family to Dayton, Ohio.

He was a veteran od World War I; a member of the Dayton Post of the American Legion, Knights of Pythias and the Odd Fellows.

Surviving are his wife Alwilda Brown Cundiff; three sons, Olaf and Jess of Detroit, and Omar of Dayton; and one daughter, Jo, of Dayton. Nine brothers and four sisters also survive.
