Blanche's California Birth Index entry shows her as Blanche Bee Arakaki, born 5 Dec 1926 in Fresno County, California; Mother's maiden name: Nime. I think that was given as a first name. Other records say her father was Kitsumato Kichimatsu Aragaki, and her mother was Ume Tikijou.  They were born 1881 and 1806 respectively, both in Japan.
