Jonathan Abraham Killian literally walked all over Webster County with John Case, making first descriptive map of its area. He was the first secretary of the Carnegie Library which he helped organize. President of Ozark Canners Association in 1927; began canning in 1921 with brother Si, later expanded into Arkansas. Owned and operated the first telephone and electric light companies in Marshfield.
