Michael E. “Mike” Hamburger, 48, of Lakeview, died at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, in his home.
He was born in Bellefontaine on Aug. 28, 1959, a son of the late Ross and Susie Williams Hamburger. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Dennis Hamburger.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Hamburger; stepson, Steven Wirgau of Lakeview; three stepgrandchildren; a brother, Joel (Robin) Hamburger of Lakeview; two sisters, Pam (Steven) Stiles of New Knoxville and Debbie Alspaugh of Wapakoneta; and many nieces and nephews.
A groundskeeper at Lima Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, he was a member of the Indian Lake Eagles Aerie 3615 and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Pastor Bryan Meadows conducts a funeral at 1 p.m. Friday at Sanford-Eichholtz Funeral Home, Lakeview, where calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Burial is in Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire, Ohio.
